Pig

On Sunday February 14th, I participated in a reading for a fundraiser event in support of Brooke Manning's upcoming OLD quarterly zine in which I am a contributor.

I read the piece featured in the zine, commonly referred to "The Skin of the Pig", and was very happy with how it went.
For the event I put together out a small zine-style printing of the story on recycled paper and handed it out to all of the guests. I'm selling the extras tonight at a Titan show at Sneaky Dee's. It's the last time this story will be available until OLD makes its debut this spring and then will stay hidden until The Body Without Organs #1 comes out for Titan's 2010 summer European tour.

So to those who are visiting my blog from the address printed in the zine, welcome. If you enjoyed Pig Skin I urge you to read "The Weeping Girl" my latest and longest short story, which is of kin to Pigskin in a few ways.

Thanks for the interest!

bummed to miss the reading and the show, and to miss out on a copy of the pigskin zine. why do you and your talented little brain have to be so far away.

Let me know next time you go and do stuff like this. I'd like to get out of the house in a different way than the other way.
